#6 The Little Drummer Girl – Episode 1 – Review

Pooj Reviews the BBC’s latest Spy series The Little Drummer Girl episode 1, directed by Park Chan-Wook, director of Oldboy, Lady Vengeance, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and other brilliant movies.

The Little Drummer Girl is based on the novel by John le Carré, whose previous works include The Night Manager and Tinker Tailoer Soldier Spy.

BBC’s new series The Little Drummer Girl started in Germany, 1979. When a bomb goes off in the diplomatic quarter of Bonn, a senior Israeli intelligence agent arrives to investigate. Meanwhile in London, a passionate young actress finds herself drawn into a dangerous international espionage operation.

The series features Hollywood stars such as Michael Shannon, Alexander Skarsgård and Florence Pugh.

Find out if The Little Drummer Girl, Park Chan-Wook’s first series, is worth watching or missing on BBC1 – and if it’s as good as 2016’s The Night Manager!
